Hartnell Little League families,

Hartnell little league is excited to announce that registration will be opening on November 17th 2024 for the upcoming 2025 season.

It is recommended to follow the procedures below to make it simple and easy.

1. Go to the Hartnell Little League website if you are not already on it.
2. Click on the League forms tab.
3. Print out the Player Registration Form, Medical Release Form and either the School Enrollment Form or Proof of Residency documents form depending on your situation.
4. Fill out the above forms and sign them.
5. Obtain your children’s Birth Certificate
6. Upload all of the above documents to your computer or device.
7. Click the Register button at the top of the Hartnell Little League website and log into Sports Connect.
8. Complete all of the necessary questions, upload your forms and checkout in your cart with annual registration dues!

Be advised, there will be no paperwork drop days as all paperwork can be submitted electronically!

Please make yourself familiar with the District 9 league boundaries and Little League international Regulation II regarding age eligibility for districts. There are links to resource guides for both of these placed in the "Helpful Links" tab on the website. Under Helpful Links you will find an address finder tool that will help you locate the league you qualify for. Be advised children ages 4-7 are eligible to play in any little league they wish. The guide explains further details.

Hartnell little League Playing Levels based on general age:

Majors: 10,11,12 year olds: Tryout Required
Minors (AAA) : 8,9,10 year olds : Tryout Required
Double (AA) Pitching Machine: 8,9 year olds
Single (A) Coach Pitch: 6,7 years olds
Tee Ball: 4,5 year olds

Hartnell Little League baseball was established in 1961 and is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We provide youth baseball opportunities to nearly 300 Salinas children ranging from 4-12 years of age. We operate solely on volunteers, registration fees, fundraising and sponsorships. To our past sponsors, please accept our sincere gratitude. For those who are potential future sponsors, we thank you for taking the time in considering to be a part of our Hartnell Little League Family.
Little League was founded in 1939 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania by Carl Stotz. When he saw the neighborhood kids bickering over the rules while playing baseball in the local “sandlot”, the idea was born! He, along with his wife Grayce, organized the neighborhood children to play baseball based on three core values...Character, Courage and Loyalty. More than 80 years later, little league still believes in and continues to teach these principles and Hartnell LL is no different. The Hartnell Little League Board of Directors is dedicated to continue to give this opportunity to the youth of Salinas today and for another 80 years in the future.
Your sponsorship will go directly back to our local Salinas youth. It will help pay for uniforms, equipment, insurance, fees and continued field and facility maintenance and improvements. With your support we will realize our goal in making a positive impact in the lives of countless young baseball players.
